Textile Artist
テキスタイルアーティスト。福岡県生まれ。
大学で染色やテキスタイルアート・デザインを学ぶ。現在は、羊毛、和紙、糸などの自然素材を用い、植物の個性やあり方を感じながら、空間に静かに息づくテキスタイルオブジェを制作している。
自然の中で植物が風に揺れるのを眺めるとき、私たちは考えることを手放し、ただそこに在ることができる。作品もまた、そんなふうに、ありのままの自分を思い出すスイッチでありたい。
日々にそっと寄り添い、静かな時間を共に紡ぐ作品が、私たちのそばにある小さな自然に、心を寄せるきっかけになればと願っている。

Sono Nitta
Textile Artist. Born in Fukuoka, Japan.Studied dyeing, textile art, and design at university. Currently, using natural materials such as wool, Japanese Washi paper, and thread, they create textile objects that quietly breathe within a space, deeply feeling the unique individuality and presence of plants.
When we watch plants swaying gently in the wind, surrounded by nature, we can let go of our thoughts and simply experience the feeling of being here, just as we are. I hope my work can be a switch that helps us remember our authentic selves in the same way.
I hope my works, softly woven into everyday life and creating moments of quietness and peace, will offer an opportunity to turn our hearts toward the small pieces of nature that are always close to us.
